Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Thank you for taking time to read my blog! My name is Marit Hovey and I recently graduated from Iowa State University in May of 2022 with majors in Global Resource Systems and Environmental Studies with minors in French, Women and Gender Studies, and Sociology.

Throughout my undergraduate degree I traveled from Kamuli, Uganda, to Europe to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. This blog came about when I was spending a semester abroad in Grenoble, France in the spring of 2020 (yes I got sent home because of COVID-19).

This summer I am participating in the International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE) program where I will be spending three months in Morocco living with host families and learning about agriculture in a new place. Stay tuned for weekly blog updates!
